I had a go at recyleing a old bashed up model kit that was made by a child 8 years ago.

What do you think?

Hi,

I'm no expert, but it does look very effective.

Thankyou for sharing your photos.

Best wishes,

Nice but maybe it's a little bit too much mud  :?

It is very nicely done, but the mud should be distributed over the top of the wheels and tracks also... I don't see how it could collect only on the bottom.

Out of interest, what was wrong with it, and what needed doing to salvage it?

It was in a proper bad state, being as it was, put together by a 7 year old. It was put together with about a gallon of poly-cement per join, none of the parts lined up, and the entire running grear/ track assembaly was a wonky mess.
I did everything I could to make out the basic shape of the T-34, and where I couldent, I put mud. Lots of mud. Infact, where there was a large hole, I superglued on a patch of Jay Cloth and flocked over it. That is why it is so muddy.
I only made it as a tabletop quality peice for a Cold War game set in the 80's, so I dident go over the top painting it, but I might go back and make it look better at some point.
