Lovely work Chris. Can't really beat those foxy Copplestone faces on the two in the middle, can you?

Very nice Bugsda, beautiful. Your group certainly has better contrast and a powerful visual impact. I think I shall be unhorsed, deservedly so :)

Excellent work Doc, it ain't over yet. ;)

As far as paintwork goes there's nothing to choose between them, I wish I could say the moody lighting was deliberate.  lol

Close call.  The Romans are well painted but lack any scenery.  I wonder why most have no helmet?  The shields are too bright and shiny and un-dented if this is supposed to represent a late in the battle scene.

 The British types have nice variation within a minimal uniform.  Well served by a simple but effective background.  They need a dog in the scene to really complete the action, Corgi or Scotty.

Five are Foundry from the Ex-Soldiers pack. The Sikh and the Wheelchair figure are from the Wolsung steampunk range, I think Micro Arts Studio sells them but I'm not quite sure on that. Thebinman sent them to me ;)

Great entries and match-up, Bugsda you have a developed a very nice "style" of painting and I love it. Those figure make me want to do some Romans! o_o
