I don't know about Denmark But here in the USA we can buy that stuff at art supply stores. It is called mat board, used for framing pictures. But you could do what I do. I buy old board game at second hand stores. The ones with most of the pieces missing are usually the cheepest, But you still have the board to cut up. I like the Game of Life sets because the little buildings are useful for 1/285-1/300 scale terrain.

I believe I will continue using the cardboard we do know. Thanks for the tip though.

In other news we've been trying to figure out just what this place should be used for... and  - Alien style gaming won... so it's a total copy of Matakishis stuff in everyway.

On the building bench is a large tower (homing beacon style) and some distillers (for water and such).

I'm thinking about what the settlers are there for in our case and I think it'll be weird spacecrops. Or perhaps mines. Don't know yet.

I'm definately gonna do a modern style jet landing bay too. Love that one! :D

They're looking nice in grey with a black wash. How big a board are you planing to be able to cover?

I like playing on a 6x8 board. Less will do of course, but the time I spend gaming compared to the time I spend planning/building/painting I'd rather have a HUGE display of (power.. whoops no:) niceness than a little measly 4x4 table. Hehe.

From the mundane scrap heap to the sublime creation.

Very good indeed!

If you are planning to do a colony farm. I found that the clear plastic cookie or cracker trays from the store packaging makes great greenhouse coverings. And you can use regular Earth plants & still look other worldly.

Sweet idea with the greenhouses :)
On the offchance of being forced to do the manual labour, I'll demand greenhouses for the colony!

Ooooh! That was an awesome idea! I'll get my plastic cutting slaves right to that!
