Dunno what the Aliens are like but I have the TARV 1970s Royal Navy landing party. They are:

1) Tiny. Prob 26-27 mm.

2) Very slim, delicate figures.

Alas, Eureka Miniatures tower over them. They are like children next to the Empress and Underfire ranges. The weapons are commensurately small so they are not a match made in heaven. Quite decent figures in and of themselves though but even mounted on raised slotta bases they look petite next to the other stuff mounted on washers.

I’m grateful for the tips on rules however I’m formulating additions to my own very basic skirmish rules.

I’m going to draw cards to activate figures and vehicles . I’ve bought up three packs of these ( only a few shown - there are loads) Captain scarlet trading cards from EBay. I’ve got enough to cover all the personalities involved with a Mysteron card which I will number , to represent specific figures.

Other cards in play .

Three per side to activate events .

Spectrum cards:

Interrupt opponent by activating any Spectrum Agent not activated so far

Activate reserves via Cloudbase.

Air Strike by Angel  Interceptor

Mysteron Cards:

Dematerialise any Mysteron Agent, vehicle or object prior to opponent shooting etc .

Mysterons take control of any non aligned figure, vehicle or object ready to be used as a Mysteron in next turn.

Strike any figure, vehicle or object or detonate any Mysteron bomb, including personnel bombs using green rings .

These are  just initial basic ideas to try and introduce the aspects and flavour of the two sides as demonstrated in the tv series.

Any thoughts : ideas troops?

If you want air support, didn’t Airfix do the angel interceptor, would be 1:72 scale.
Great find Haynes manual. 😃

The mobiles are ace!  8)

Where did you get the decals? I'm wondering if they would fit the Imai 1/48(ish) kits I have...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
