A bit more progress on this. Here is the last of the large buildings for the boma:

This started life as a single story adobe building, and then I contructed a second floor that fits on top. Construction details are on the blog:

That excellently captures the feel of the prototype. Even without a certain prototype it has the right feel of German architecture combined with colonial elements (low angle tin roof, etc.). I like it very much!

the corrugated iron has come out a treat as well!

The mix of abode and half timber is a nice touch, and an unexpected combination that I haven't seen before. Thanks for teaching a little history.

That oven is fantastic by the way.

I like the little doors.
