Heresy mites.
« on: October 13, 2012, 01:03:22 PM »
Once there was a slightly converted Umber Hulk miniature who had a swarm of mite minions.

He used these to terrify the known universe and eat Colonial marines (amongst others). Then, one day, he saw that Heresy Miniatures were having a promotion on their recently re-moulded mites and so he invested in a few more.

Now he's really going to cause some unpleasantness...

Occasionally he loans his mites out to the Spugs too.

Excellent and nice swarm.

The Umber Hulk is a great addition.

Where are the giant worms from ?
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

I like the Mites, always loved how scary they looked when I saw them first on Heresy's website.

The Worms are also pretty gross :)

Damn, now I want to get my hands on some of those mites... though they would be a bit monstrously big with 15mm figs, I guess.

I like the paint jobs very much. What really shines out is how utterly disgusting the mites look! Just great!

I painted the worms a long time ago now. I have a couple more to do but they're such horrible castings and such a pain to assemble and fill that I've avoided it. Maybe one day.
