Another Reaper kitbash, meant as a swamp monster with both "lurking ambush" and "assault" modes.

Mostly experimenting with marsh effects on the bases this time around.

Fairly happy with the color choices, although I think next time I'll go with more greenish water and less muddy earth.

Might add some vegetation in the form of grass tufts or static grass too. Must have some around here somewhere.

Came out a bit glossier than intended, in part because Krylon matte coat is matte in name only. Be nice if my local arts & crafts store would restock my beloved Testor's one of these days. :?

Ah, that's what I call proper kit bashing. I really like the creature, the gooey dark base, and in particular the idea with the arms sticking out off the base.
