The Medical Staff/Nut House Crew are probably the scariest things you've yet come up with; i.e., they brought this to mind:

...one of those Nightmare inducing movies from my boyhood. Other than that VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

I love the group shot of your hospital staff.  :-*
They look very formidable.

Apocalypse 1929 sounds really cool!  :D

On a side note, DeafNala, yes the Snake Pit is a classic. Great movie.

The hospital staff are looking good Mason! Another fine, fine effort mate - you are a painting machine, sir. Or a panting machine, not sure which...

Cheers, mate!.
(I think.... ???)

I have a crypt horror with your name on it

Nice one!
 :D
Ghoul King, perhaps....

Yea, great group shot there!

Thanks, styx!

Oh, I really like everything here but I particularly like the hospital staff. I have a hospital kit and maniac in the wings as another project this fall, so thanks for the inspiration!

Also, that gorilla is awesome. I may have to get him, the armored gauntlets are just the right touch for SA.

Thanks, Yetis Yell!
The Gorilla is known as a War Ape, I have been informed, from one of the D&D ranges but not sure which one.

Wow! Wonderful group shot there. I think you instantly feel better when someone wants to send you there for treatment  lol.

Thanks, Enethaeron!
I dont think that that would be a Hospital that I would be too keen to visit either!

How in the world can you paint so well, so fast?!  I'm impressed, envious and annoyed at my own snail-like pace, all at the same time!

Thanks, obsidian3d!
I cannot take the credit for all of them. A few of this bunch were painted by aircav.

Something is wrong with that hospital, but I just can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong...oh wait, the staff are all lunatics!
Fantastic family photograph!

Thanks, necrocannibal!
 lol

Groovy group shot mate  8) Thanks  :)

cheers

James

Thanks, James.
You are welcome!
Thanks for the idea, there are more to come.

Glad that you like them.
Apocalypse 1929 is a project that I am very much looking forward to doing.
 :D

Glad that the Hospital Staff seem to have gone down well.........if that is the right term!

Todays group shot offering is the Cult of the Purple-Headed Worm.

There are quite a few members of this particular Cult now.
I have another dozen or so Cultists and am torn between adding to the numbers of this one or starting another.
Bearing in mind the Kulten expansion is due out soon, I may well start another for variety.

Anyone have any thoughts on the two options?

I think cult membership should be closed. Their ranks look pretty swollen.  :D
Time to start a new cult!

I'd agree about starting a new one.  Eight to ten members is easily enough for a decent VUK list, because at around that point you'd want to start adding tougher creatures to the congregation.  At least that'd be my recommendation after playing a few games.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing, just was not sure how many Cultists I would ever use at once....

Thanks for the tip, obsidian3d!
Glad to hear that from someone who has played a couple of games.

It looks like a second Cult is on the cards then.
I do have a couple of figures that I have to add to this Cult, but they are not 'plain' Cultists.
 ;)
I already have a pretty firm idea of what to do with the next group anyway, just didnt want to paint more for this and then wish that I had started another.
I was also getting a little bored with painting purple too, so that is an added bonus!
Thanks for the opinions, chaps.
Much appreciated!
If anyone has any other points to add to the above, feel free to shout them out.

Back tomorrow with the next group shot...

Todays group shot is the Druid and the various creatures that he can call upon to aid him.

The Call of the Wild.

So far he only has Giant Vermin familiars, a Were-Cat and a summoned Shambler, but there will be more added over time.
I also managed to get my hands on one of Zaheer's stone huts recently, so he will have an abode of his own that will double up as a Scene of Terror. I just need to find the time to slap some paint on it now. Soon, very soon...

I especially love the shambler! Looks like the Scream killer in a fur coat; pimp my psycho! Nice work though. ;)

VERY COOL STUFF! The druid & his Furry Friends are a FANTASTIC Crew especially the Rats...they look like they'd put off the Werecat's appetite for rodents. I like what you've done with the bases. VERY WELL DONE!

I belatedly vote for a new group of Cultists. It sets up the possibility of a rivalry or a tenuous alliance...plus it would give you a break from the purple.

That did make me chuckle.

Excellent!

You should. It gives you a good idea of how much you have achieved so far.

Thanks, Ajsalium!
The rats are the old Wyrd rats from Necromunda, if my powers of recall are correct.

Very, very cool.  :-*

Very "Dreams in the Witch House".

Thanks, Aggro!
It seems that DeafNala and yourself are both classic horror fans.

Tomorrow's picture will be entitled 'Midnight Feast'.......
