Excellent work, you've inspired me to get on with my Celts.
Thanks Rick, glad you're inspired. They're a very colourful subject to paint with lots of detail but I like the end result.

Slow coming to the party but your Gauls are amazing.  Love the plaid and the seamless way you have done the shields.  Cracking figures  :-* :-* :-*

Some 'Big Men' for my Roman Auxiliary force. A Centurion, an Optio and a bodyguard (Wolfie).
Shields are in the process of being done but I thought I'd put them up now before the shields hid any detail.
Onto the Cavalry next  :)

I love the details here, especially on that wolf cloak!  :o

Thanks Gary, bit like Highlanders they take longer to paint than your average figure but I'm pleased with how they turned out.

Cheers mate, I had a good look at some actual photos of Wolves and the first thing I noticed was they are a mixture of browns and greys in the main and rarely one straight colour  :)

Thanks Jeff, you just have to look at modern German Shepherd dogs or similar to be inspired, and there's huge variety.

Meet Daiometrix, my Silurian commander for my British force for Infamy2.
He comes with a musician, Standard and two lower level commanders ready to give those Romans what for.

Jeff, they are remarkable!!!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

The plaid is the best I have seen on a 28mm mini. Not to dull, not overstated and as crisp as you like.  8) 8) 8)

Colour me very impressed :)
