Title: Curteys Miniatures Dark Age Farm

Just finished the other day.
The new Dark Age(Saxon) Farm by Curteys Miniatures, the set comprises a house with lift off roof,2 hut/store houses,grain store on stilts,bee hives and small hut that can be as part of an animal enclosure when using the Renedra wattle fencing also included .

That's rather good. I like it.

Is it resin or plastic?

All the buildings are resin, fences are plastic by Renedra.

That looks really great! And well done on the painting.

This is most definately on my "must buy" list. This is usefull for both fantasy, dark age and medieval games.

I saw a red clay oven just like that couple of years ago at Ribe Viking Centre !!  :)

A Round House and a great hall, are dollied an awaiting detailing.just need to finish off a couple of ww2 projects first.
Unless Simon and Mick get nagged enough loland then they'll nag me to get my thumb out!

The ovens are added to give the feel of a living farm not just a collection of buildings.
If you want to increase the feel of a larger settlement,then add the hay stack and dung heap set .This set add's even more to the story telling of your farm,

I only now discovered the bee hives.. so, where do they stash their mead..?  >:D  ;)

I have seen it in the flesh, so to speak, and it is really very good. Clean crisp casting and lots of bits with multiple uses.
