There is a great documentary about the making of Apocalypse Now. Maybe this helps Paul. I think the daughter of Coppola made it.

Don’t worry I know ‘Heart if Darkness’. I bought it back in 1992 when it was first released on VHS.

I had my first two packs of ANZACs hand delivered by Nathan of Elite Miniatures Australia.

They are absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait for the rest of the range to be released :)

Couldn’t agree more. Just finished painting the first 16. Nathan really does provide excellent service and seems like a really nice chap over the phone.

To vary mine I’ve filed the bush hats down on all the duplicates and mixed up the colour palette for them.

Excellent flick. One of the best ‘making of’ documentaries around, second only to Les Blank’s Burden of Dreams on the making of Fitzcarraldo. If you haven’t seen it, then do yourself a favour and get hold of a copy. Who was nuttier? Werner Herzog or Klaus Kinski?

I agree, excellent figures. Ordered the second pack last night, only bought the first one to have a go at painting it, might be leading to a bit more now, roll on the SAS figures.

That's not a bad idea! Do you have any pics to share? I'm curious to see how you went about modifying the bush-hats.

I've noticed one of my figures had the flash suppressor break off in transit. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience, and whether they had any luck fixing it? I was debating whether a brass rod replacement barrel would be worth the effort...

Worse comes to worst and I can't get it looking right, he'll be the first of my troopers for a SASR patrol  :D

Yep but with added Owen gun. Needed a test figure for colours.
