Very, very fine brushwork indeed.  Loving the broken bricks and dust on the urban bases.  Well done.

An inspired way to paint sumptarn and splinter .Two brush stroke's to hint at the raindrop pattern in the fabric.
Very simple, very effective, and now very much borrowed.
Mark.

5cm Mortar:

MG 34 HMG:

Lieutenant and aide:

Artillery Forward Observer and Medic:

All figures are Warlord Games again but instead of the rather crappy metal heads they got heads from the Blitzkrieg Germans set.

As always you'll find more pics and bushwa over on my blog.

stunning brushwork
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

The painting is second to none and I like the way the belt of ammo on the machine gun bows under the weight of the rounds.

Is the mickey mouse cammo on the BEF helmets something you have a reference for? It looks interesting.

Very nice painting and basing.
