Can I ask, what thickness of foam did you use?

The Canyon side has a combination of 1.5" and 3/4" foam with some standard foamcore to vary the heights as the board has about 1-3/4" depth from the side skirts.

The Innsmouth side is all 3/4" foam since the clearance is only 1".

Thanks for all the comments!

Thanks  :D You're not so bad yourself  ;)

Incidentally, I added some gloss white metallic to the tips of the wave crests on the Innsmouth side.  It's just enough to sell the wave effect since it might be a little bit difficult to see them on the overhead shots.

So the entire thing is about 3 or 4 inches?

Also the wood around the table edge is pretty inspired. Extra protection for this work of art! The only issue is that it means you can't butt two boards next to each other to increase the playing surface.

Cheers

That's some nice ideas there. AND great execution!

I don't have a lot of space at my place. Some specific, easily stored, small boards like that would be great!

Agreed, my house is small and space is limited....so small compact boards are appealing...
