Miniatures Market has ridiculously low priced clearance stuff on AT-43.  But only a handful of models per faction.  They're selling walkers for $10 a pop etc.
Yes they do have some things for clearance.
They have mostly Cogs and the Apes. Alot of the Apes. A couple of other scattered here and there.
And no walkers for $10. A few Cog ones for $12 and $13. The UNA walkers are no less than $20. :-(
Shame, i do so love the walkers. The Apes and Cogs have a use. Just a shame the rest of the human forces werent more into current mini scale. There would have been more of a use for them.

Kickstarter to buy the molds and repair them.... The debt is only half a mill. Tell em they get what ever the kick starter brings in sans cost of repairs in exchange for the molds. Really I think it would just be the walkers people actually want instead of the whole set of figs. You could put one of those goal syatems in. If we get so much we get this many molds if we get more we buy more molds.

Make it clear that if you invest you dont get free figures you get the chance of buying the walkers again from repaired and retooled molds.

The problem is that even if someone does that, there's the problem of buying the rights for the AT-43 figures from Cyanide. Even if they don't have any interest in the figures, they still own the rights for the universe.  :?

I know for me, except for a few Apes, it is all i care about really. And in the end it is simply because the scale is too big on the humans. If they were rescaled smaller a few MM's that would be different. So much potential but screwed up scale messed that all up. :-(

Sometimes that's intentional to encourage buyers to only use that particular range (bit like GW's LotR stuff).

I picked up a couple of AT-43 and Dust Tactics walkers for a mecha game I was going to do...I recently sold them off on ebay.  I know some of the designers are the same folks, but for thos wondering - the arms (weapons) do work switching back and forth from Dust to AT-43 etc.  This makes for some very cool conversions.

Oh i understand. So how did that process work out for the makers of AT-43?
Been an issue and part of downfalls of others as well.

That wasn't what screwed Rackham though.

Sure as heck didn't do them any good. It was the reason I never bought any of their product when it came out. A reason I heard many times. :-)
