Here 4 plot points I've painted for the african campaign (congo) of pulp alley I'm planning.
Some female african natives from the amazon tribe. I'm painting some males too, that I will use as backup or in a normal african village.
Soon I will include the pictures of other 5 plot points.
-
Nice! Who makes those?

African Villagers from Foundry wargames :)

Here five plot points:

Good job on the plot points and the DA ladies (nice flesh tones) :-*

Thanks, here some tents I've painted. I've included some miniatures in the picture because the tents alone were boring ;)
-
Cool! Does the bulldog get its own tent? lol

Yes, Why not? After all these are called "dogtents" :D

lol lol I'm not sure he's going to fit! :o
-
Here some "backups" or maybe plot points or maybe allies or followers too, if needed in the african campaign:
-
Excellent! Are you planning a Perilous Island expedition?
-
These are brilliant. Narrative games deserve decent objective models, great work.

Excellent! Are you planning a Perilous Island expedition?
Thanks. Yes I'm planning a campaign in Belgian Congo, 193X year. With my italian "legio prometheus" league & the "Baker expedition".
They are looking for the forgotten mythological city of Themyscira. But a tribe of female native warriors protect it and some dark skinned amazons with greek armors are inside the forgotten city lead from a green skinned queen-goddess. A cyclop submissive to the queen protect the secrets inside the forgotten city too.

Wow! Who makes that Bulldog? It's awesome!

Wonderful work! Can I ask what you used for the skin tone? It looks excellent.

Thanks. For the african skin I used GW rhinox hide as a base, a vash of agrax earthshade, hightlight of pure rhinox again, two-three highlights of rhinox mixed with white, and then again some little vashes of agrax earthshade.

Here two perilous areas, a snake and a quicksand:
-
lol lol That's great! Cool idea. ;)

Here more plot points: an evil altar and a native african female warrior prisoner... but beware! The prisoner could be a perilous area too (look in her back, that knife is ready for you or she is just trying to free herself?) :D
-
(look in her back, that knife is ready for you or she is just trying to free herself?) :D
Or they could be hair straighteners? lol Deadly when hot…

Really nice work!! Could we have more views of her please?
Where can I find her to add to my own native perils?
Valerik
strangely drawn to the dangers of the Dark Continent

Thanks. The miniature is a GW Dark Eldar prisoner:

Actually seem these miniatures are done in resin, but mine is in metal (I bought it some years ago).
the original model I've used for the native warrior was a sisterhood prisoner.
Front and back pictures are not enough? Do you need a picture in what angle?
-
Fantastic! :-*

Grazie Mille!!
I shall be on the look out for her, & her sister...
Your interpretation, & execution, is better, & far more interesting, than the factory one.
Forgive my idiocy, I hadn't scrolled right...
The only other picture I would really like is of her on MY table!!
Valerik
never enough distressed damsels
-
Here more plot points, an altar of skulls and a classic pulp blonde girl in peril:
-
Fantastic stuff man! Love your ideas and paintjobs!!!
-
Those are sweet! Love making plot points!
-
Great stuff! Highly imaginative! :-*
-
Here the last two guys from the foundry wargames "african villagers"
-
Tribal female warrior drummer and chieftain, fine plot points for my campaign
-
What a fantastic collection, lovely painting. I think you have more plot and back-up figures than I have painted miniatures! I really liked the quicksand too.
-
Here more plot points and perils.
-
Cool plot point and peril markers! ;)
-
:-*
These are top notch. Brilliant painting, modification and sourcing.
-
Nice work! :-*
-
Here a black panther and a "jungle girl". I could use the panther for perilous areas or as the sidekick of the "jungle girl" league ;)

Excellent! I really like using animals for Sidekicks. ;)
-
Whoa! Is she from Foundry as well? And where's the panther from? It looks great!

Thanks :) The "jungle girl" is a fantasy miniature from Bronze Age Miniatures, while the panther is from North Star Africa! (AA17 Leopard)
-
Great, thanks!
-
Das niiice!
-
Both fantastic miniatures, and useful both as potential League members and as plot points.
I have lots of dogs (they die every single game they appear in...) but only a pair of sabre-tooth tigers for cats. A panther or leopard seems like a good idea...
-
here some tomb graves:
-
Love those! Need to get some!
-
Nice! Can't have enough graves in your collection. Still dreaming of a pulp/cthulhu game on a cemetary filled with zillions of graves and tombs...

Indeed! ;D
-
Here some members of Congo Belgian Force Publique during interwar (about 1933-1939) for my pulp alley campaign.
They should be fine as bystanders or maybe a league too.
I will include two more painted belgian officers soon.
-
Very nicely done! :o
-
Nice! They might work as constable for Perilous Island too!
-
Good stuff!
-
These are looking great, as your minis always do.
-
Wow, excellent painting on these! The contrast is really good and the colors POP! Top job!
-
Very nice! :-* :-*
-
Excellent work, JiNNai! ;)
-
Thanks, here the complete bystander league ;)
-
After some time (I'm painting several oldhammer miniatures ;) ), here my next pulp alley work:
An african mud hut and a belgian female explorer (as a bystander, allied with my belgian force publique).
Probably I will do a bigger picture of the female explorer, meawhile here a small "diorama" ;)
I need comments about the african mud hut. Initially I wanted to do a thatched roof but have problems to do it, so I've done a mud roof. Do you like it? It could be correct? Maybe I should change something? The hut is really cheap, I've done it with two aluminum trays a cardstock roof with mud done with a paper handkerchief and glue and a sprig. Simple, fast and easy.

-
That is very clever, looks great!
-
Here another small "diorama", I've bought and painted a ruined greek temple from Scotia Grendel, here included with some of my yet painted amazons:
-
I know the Belgian Askaris are the Brigade German East Africa figures (look very neat in that color scheme), but where are the officers from?

The officers are BC18 British Officers (Tropical Dress) from Copplestone Castings:

That hut is brilliant!
-
Here a better picture of the female belgian explorer:
-
They all look great!
I love the colors and shading!
-
Another nice addition :-*
-
I've painted the female african amazon villagers for my pulp alley campaign:
-
Excellent work throughout!! :-*
Love the Mudhut tinfoil cake idea! :o
Do you stregthen the inside to protect against heavy handed gamers? Leaning on them I mean!
:)
-
Nice! Who makes the Amazons?
-
Great painting and fun imagination. By now you should be anticipating that each new picture will result in someone asking who makes the pictured miniatures. :) For my part, I've always enjoyed seeing a variety of miniatures from a number of different companies based the same way and "working" together. Great stuff.

Oh yes, that reminds me I need to get some of awesome new Hinterland minis. They will work great for Mila's Venus VSF Pulp Alley campaign! :D

The Amazon villagers are Wargames Foundry miniatures. ;)
I yet know the hinterlandminiatures, I considered their female askari for one of my pulp alley leagues (The "Bò cult) but I found and painted other miniatures.
