It's a "display room" actually . My gaming room cabinets are all full already so I have taken over an adjacent room as my new "historical room". It has a solid wall of 16' worth of display cabinets from floor to ceiling which should last for a bit. I just ordered three large plaque prints of the maps for the battles on which my historical collection are built, including a ~4'x3' plaque for Waterloo. The plaques are custom-framed in the back to allow me to flip them over and use as ready-made skirmish tables separate from my main gaming table in the primary game room. I will share some photos when everything is finished.

For now, here is the second heavy cavalry regiment in the Netherlands Division: Carabiniers No. 2. These are Belgian. I am somewhat running out of steam in the final stretch of this project with new projects taking ever more of my mindshare. 5 more cavalry units and two more (half) batteries to go... Pushing myself

Thank you all for the encouragement. I shall prevail . Painting the last heavies now, though I might batch the horses with the light cav as a bundle.

The model are from Perry. Belgian Carabiniers Charging. Same for the first unit except those are Dutch. They are single models with rider and horse as one part. Nice sculpts but limited variety. For the third (Dutch) Karabiniers, I went with Front Rank instead for variety. The light cav is likewise a mix of Perry and Front Rank.
