Resin domes & columns?
« on: September 15, 2011, 08:28:41 AM »
There is, somewhere out there, a UK company that produces, among other things, rather nice domes and columns in resin to add to scratchbuilt buildings. They do Middle Eastern, Russian, and Indian domes, and column in a few styles as well. I was just on their site a few weeks ago, forgot to bookmark it, and can I find it this evening? Course not! Help?

in which scale?

I mean, a column is pretty easy to cast , but a dome is huge!

Huh, I wonder if it's someone selling casts of Hirst Arts molds?

No they pre-date Hirst Arts.
Used to be marketed by Ian Weekly, I think he did some model building articles in Military Modelling magazine? but he used to custom-build buildings and had some moulds of his own for key components.
The company that has them now (Magnetic Displays) used to be known as Coritani Miniatures. Nice people, they attend quite a few UK shows.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
