Flames of War Question/ Terrain Question
« on: March 29, 2024, 04:12:52 PM »
Are the figure miniatures measured 15mm to eye level or top of head?

And or

Does someone have the 15mm "pre painted" Normandy Terrain from Micro Art Studios? I'm curious to know how tall the building doorways are.

This is a really difficult one to answer as in my experience the figures have grown in size over the years. I have mostly metal figures and these vary alot in size. Different sculptors in different phases of release also had quite different styles so early release midwar soviets are quite squat and chunky but by late war Bagration release (1st time around) they were thin and standing a little taller. Some of these later thin style releases are still used part of crews for current releases. The new plastic/resin whatever I couldn't say I'm afraid.

Also bear in mind the old style bases were not recessed and the base on the figure would sit them quite a bit off the surface of the table whereas new releases have recessed bases to sit them less high on the table.

Its a bit of a minefield (Which have also changed in shape over the years  lol )
