Gee whiz those are nice. I might have to go back and touch mine up a little.
Spiffy, really spiffy. (Where's the San Pablo?)

Very nice. Your whites look great! It's such a hard colour to get right.

Like your painting.
Your whites came out really well.
Pulp Figures are real fun to paint.

Agreed, whites very nice. Beautiful detail work on the kerchiefs, too!

I've got a batch of these guys on the painting table too, must get back to them and get them done properly! Thanks for the inspiration!

Great brushwork! Your color choices for the blues are quite attractive for the chambray shirts and denim trousers.

How do you shade your whites like that? They look great and it's something I've been struggling to do on some of my figures lately.

Nice figs and a bright and clean paint job.

What gaming rules do you plan to use with them?

Thanks for sharing.

Greetings all,
Thank you for the kind comments.

Whites: no magic here, it is the Foundry Arctic Grey A and B shades straight from the pot with a highlight of Vallejo Off White! Not a question of shading, but one of highlighting.... starting with the darker tone and working up from that.

Blues: The shirts are Vallejo Dark Blue highlighted up with additions of Vallejo Grey Blue. Trousers being a base coat of Vallejo Dark Prussian Blue, a mid tone of of Vallejo Oxfrord Blue and a final highlight of 50-50 mix of Oxford Blue and Grey Blue.

As for rules, you will have to ask the chap who owns these figures. I only paint....  :)

Very nice painting!  :-*

I don't know what it is with Bob Murch's sculpts but they just ooze character while the sculpting itself being somehow 'simple' (for lack of a better word).  ::)
