Hiya, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I´ve just watched the SAS docudrama on ITV4 (yup, nothing special), but coupled that I bought a magazine on the subject last week, I´m considering getting a bunch (dozen or so) SAS types for some cold-war games. Specifically, Middle East in the 1960s and 70s.
I´ve seen the Gripping Beast Falklands Figures (too modern, I assume), the Chiltern models (a bit too chunky for my taste, and probably too modern weapons, too). The HLBS stuff is post-cold war, I assume? I seem to recall some models used in a Miniature Wargames article sometime in the early 2000s, but cannot look it up at the moment (me in UK, mags in Germany, duh!).
So, can anybody recommend SAS-type figures, either in battledress (I assume it is called like that) or in irregular attire (some of the Artizan might do, but would have to be extensively converted, I fear)?
Nothing too pressing, though, but all help is appreciated. If there are none, I´ll probably go for the Falklands setting.
