where are your innocents from?

A mix of Wargames Foundry ECW civilians, and Crucible Crush Productions pilgrims.

Thanks again folks for all of the kind words and encouragement. I've now written up a blog answering some of the more frequent questions I've been asked, and showing a few WIP pages.

etc etc  :)

That’s a good looking layout and the table of contents looks like it is well organized. The premise for the game is intriguing, but outside any periods I usually game in. I may still get a copy, though- can never have too many new periods!

I've read the last few blog posts and it all looks to hang together well, in principle I'm not a big fan of d10's because there's such a big variable riding on the roll of a dice but I could be persuaded I'm wrong.
Best of luck with the rules, from what I've seen I'm sure they will be well received.
Cheers

This looks like an interesting ruleset and I'll be following closely!

Definitely pencilling this in for purchase when available. Are you planning a KS or some sort of promo campaign?

It can be a gateway game to get you into pike and shot!  :D

Thanks Vagabond. Traditionally I like d6s for bigger battle games, but d10s for skirmish games where it gives (as you say) a wider range of options. This is especially handy for automated actions for monsters. Also, it makes it much easier to determine percentages for the less mathematically inclined.

!

Oh, thank you. I have a marketing budget of whatever I've made on royalties the month before, less hobby purchases, so I tend to be pretty poor at marketing. Like my other games it will be available through WargamesVault and Amazon, and I'll certainly announce it here and on Facebook.

Any marketing gurus giving out advice gratis will be well received!  lol

By an odd coincidence, on the weekend a pal was showing me some of the figures he’s painting for Beneath the Lily Banner. “You’ve got to try some, man, the hats are great, you just don’t see that in other periods!”

The last time I fell for his shenanigans, I ended up buying and painting two 10mm Seven Years War armies…. “Dude, it’s all about the tricorns…”.
