Thanks all for the great recommendations. Several games here I had not heard of.

Apologies for the lack of much initial detail on what I am after - I want to do something in the 2300AD setting, which is on the harder end of SF, although with plasma and laser weapons. One of the main alien factions has some strange psychology that will affect initiative, but I am expecting to have to houserule something for that.

Looking forward to checking out these suggestions.

Sorted thanks, saw Akula yesterday, he told me Warbases do both army and settlers wagon drivers figures. They look spot on, too.

Pikes, Muskets and Flouncy Shirts / Play Forward in Göttingen
« Last post by The Rogue on Today at 04:38:02 PM »
If someone lives near Göttingen, Germany. Next weekend there will be the Play Forward Event 2024, the second one. A great city-wide-games-occasion. https://www.play-forward.de/

One of the parts will be run by our club Tabletop Göttingen e.V. https://www.tabletop-goettingen.de/

And I will again present my big, fictions 17th century diorama „Elbstein“ - this time with some new elements and as a Pikemans Lament /Dragon Rampant crossover participation game.

It would be a pleasure to greet someone at Papendieck 14 in the Historisches Gebäude der Universität Göttingen.

The pictures are an earlier incarnation and some work in progress of the new part of the table, it’s approximately 18 by 6 ft with an additional part of 4 by 4 ft.

Superb start, some great conversions.
The chaplain pair with the pistol works particularly well.
