Great stuff!
Is the wagon scratchbuilt?
-
Yes, scratchbuild, but the wheels are lasercut. Need more suitable Figures for the driver and the second gunner
-
Wow! This is cool!
(I think the gunner looks quite good as driver.)
Did you make a template for the wagon?

Yes he will work fine in both positions, but it looks better with different minis.
Thought about two from copplestones white russian guncrew.
This is always my first attempt to build a vehicle, and i am not really happy with it
At the moment i have no idea to make a good looking undercarriage with axlesprings, and find good looking horses :?

aint that the bees knees :D

Hombre,
Not sure what the Russian harness looked like, probably minimal from the few pictures I've seen, but I think Foundry or Perry artillery horses would work. Particularly Perry because they look like they've been on campaign (somewhat underfed) although they might be a bit small compared to the Copplestone figures. However, this might work to your advantage. They might appears as underfed Steppe ponies.

That looks great!
Eureka's pewter 28mm tchanka is well up my "toys I want for my RCW forces" list, and I've often wondered if one of the lasercut folks would step up and offer this unique vehicle as well.
-
Very nice scratchbuild wagon, Hombre! :-* Something like that is on my list for a long time ...

Have you seen Eureka's model in comparison with 28mm figs? I must warn you, it's tiny! For me it's closer to 20mm or 1/72 than to 28mm figures. And you're quite right: it's a shame they didn't do one as lasercut kit.
-
superb. well done! :-*
-
Excellent, Hombre! :o :-*
I was thinking about such a vehicle.
I have the Eureka tachanka but never wanted to paint it, unfortunately it's much too small as is the rest of their RCW range it's 25mm at best (although very nice). I hope they will consider a 28mm update in the future.

Very nice, Mike!
I think we should play another RCW game in the near future! I'll talk to the other guys when we go to the Tactica, to see if we can find a date to visit you!
-
Hombre,
Spectacular!!!
Where did the driver figure come from? He is Copplestone, but can't place him. Also:
Where did the horses come from?
What did you use for the check lines the driver is using to steer the horses with?
Very nicely done.
-
This is excellent!
Is there a chance that there may be a Step-by-Step for the construction of the wagon etc? Please pretty please? ;D ???
Darrell.

I'd say he's from Brigade, but I'm also not sure.
edit: yep, here he is:

As Turbo-Ben says,
and the horses are from wargames factory, the harness is "Milliputty-Freestyle"
and wire ( i know, my sculpting skills are not the best :?)
