Some of my British troops in action in the desert. The trucks are Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" Crossley Tenders that I stripped down primed and then repainted.

And these are some of my Bolshevik Army.

And finally a Czarist "Officers" unit.

They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious!!

I second this! Brilliantly painted and well-set on the table!  8)

Very effective use of gravel and flock (or is it a matte?). It looks almost like the real deal. Did you glue the gravel to the board or is it just sprinkled on?

The terrain, well I use TSS terrain boards, plain sand coloured, and the flock/gravel is sprinkled on, it is an amalgamation of several types of flock and gravel bits, including Fullers Earth cat litter. The rocks I saw in somebody's driveway and just collected them and washed them. Simple but effective terrain, and not mega expensive. (Just a pain in the a** to clear up afterwards. ) The only constructed parts are the scrub areas, I based some rocks on an ireegular cut piece of plasticard covered with Tetrion filler, and added coloured sisal string to represent clumps of grass/scrub.

The trucks, well I stripped off the wheels/tyres, and the canopies and interior seating. I just primed the vehicles over the original paintwork, then re-painted, It took two coats of GW "Catachan Green", repainted the canopy and interior seating and when the paint was dry refitted them to the vehicle. I then refitted the tyres and drybrushed the whole thing with a dust coat mixed from a Fawn paint with matt white added. Very simple.

(I will post the pics of the US cavalry shortly.)

Thanks for your kind comments.
