Frontier Light Horse figures
« on: October 26, 2011, 09:20:06 PM »
Just came across this. I assume they're conversions of Empress Miniatures but I'm hoping they're 'to be released' Empress miniatures...

They look like converted Buffalo Border Guard (Empress) with either Boer or Native heads on.
They will not force us,
They will stop degrading us,
They will not control us,
We will be victorious!!

They are  Redoubt Miniatures Frontier Light Horse.

Really? How do they scale? Redoubt tend to have two different scales for their figures...

They are on the tall side, probably head and shoulders over Empress. We used my collection of Redoubt stuff in last years BLAM Zulu game. They measured up ok next to Captain Bloods Foundry Zulus.

I can bring some along nextw eek if you wish to check.

Yup, very tall - I was using some the other day alongside Empress and they are very, very tall and slender - in fact I commented at the time that they were almost flats.

You're right, Redoubt dwarf Empress and that's no exaggeration. I had the idea of mixing artillery crews and it looked absurd.
Don't!
