Mk1 "Dachshund" walker from Mammoth Miniatures.
« on: April 15, 2024, 12:27:14 PM »
My latest (and biggest) release - I'm pretty pleased with it - The pleasantly chunky Dachshund - so called because of it's little legs.

it's up on the mammoth webstore right now (www.mammothminiatures.com)

I'm quite proud of the casting on this one - it's a three part resin kit and the entire leg assembly is a single piece with no mould lines on any of the outer surfaces.
Dazzle camo maybe isn't the best promo paintjob but I like the effect.  lol

I think that looks amazing. Was expecting a longer body with the dumpy legs, but still that is a nice piece of kit.

Love this. It's definitely got a feel more of a mobile weapons bunker than a real walker... and that's something that really appeals to me.

Although I love it, I have to admit, it looks nothing like my dachshund. :D

I have to say, the idea of getting this and putting one of those new 28mm plastic Quar in the top hatch has wormed into my brain and not left for a while now.
