New Ancient Chinese Warring States / Qin Dynasty 28mm miniatures

April 8, 2015 Update

We have two weeks left in our Kickstarter and our goal has been reached!!!! We have been working diligently on making sure the production process runs smoothly so everyone can get their toys in a timely manner. This process has allowed us to reevaluate our budget for manufacturing and we were able to save some money. We wanted passed along these savings to the Kickstarter backers in the guise of lowering our Stretch Goal amounts.

Over the past two weeks we have posted pictures of painted miniatures, shown off work in progress of our Terracotta soldiers and hit 600 Likes on our Facebook unlocking some freebies for some of our backers. We hope you take some time and check out the Kickstarter and get in on the action before the fundraiser ends.

Thanks guys for the support and nice comments. We have another update for you regarding the missing pieces that finally arrived and were cleaned. We added two dagger-axe arms that fit the armored, unarmored, and lightly armored warriors, a new more traditional looking Chinese shield and a curved sword for the armored warrior. We also added more arm options for the General giving you several combinations. The pieces are going to the caster tomorrow and we should have metal castings in the next 2-3 weeks.  Thanks and enjoy.

I wonder how they'll be packaged, then? All of the unused metal bits will contribute to both the cost and the postage...

I am quite sure that, back in time they announced it as a plastic project.

We have recently posted a new digital pictures of our chariots on our Facebook page (also added to this post) and we also posted a survey concerning our Stretch Goals for our Kickstarter. We wanted your opinion on whether or not we should take a Fantasy approach to our Wave 2 or continue down the historical road and offer a support range to our core product.

Wave 1 and the product you will be offering your pledges for will be a 28mm metal core range of Chinese Warring States / Qin Dynasty miniatures consisting of:
General on foot
Unarmored, lightly armored, and fully armored infantry
Light and heavy chariots
General's chariot
Light and heavy cavalry
Nomadic cavalry

One of our stretch goals will be to convert the infantry, chariots and cavalry into plastic but those will be lofty goals. We want to offer a broader range of miniatures using smaller stretch goals to keep everything moving and give the army a more complete feel. Please vote, send us your comments and things you would like to see sculpted, and pass this along to your friends.

Here is the survey:

If you produced some figures of the Water Margin heroes, I would be so sold.

Perhaps in the future but those stories take place about 1000 years after the range we are producing.  With a history as old as the Chinese we could produce stuff for a very long time. As long as people were interested. :)

Red Cliff / Romance of the Three Kingdoms characters would be awesome. I'd also like to see some Wuxia Kung Fu heroes and possibly Tibetan Mandala style demons. Ok, now I will go look at the survey... ;)
