Title: What I painted in april of 2024

I really like these desert dwellers which the Perry brother sculpted to Games Workshops addition to the Peter Jackson Middle Earth universe.

One actually did break off one of the figs in the picture - I considered removing them from all of the knights but decided to try a rebuild first. I drilled and added a wire pin, then used green stuff to build a replacement. It’s not a perfect match to the original, but it’s not bad.

I took a short break from the 15mm elves and painted a 28mm undead wizard last night. My kid is trying D&D and wanted to paint her character, so I gave her a tutorial and used the dead guy as an example ( some of the palette colours overlapped). This is the first figure I have painted where object sourced lighting is an important part. I think it turned out okay but any constructive criticism/ pro tips would be helpful for future efforts.

I've always shied away from attempting it, but I think you've done a great job on the object sourced lighting effect.

The total for the month was three trees, 15 skelis, and two wood piles. That is blazingly fast painting for me.
