I have been working on these for a while and are now close to having everything ready and complete...here is a game with the mostly finished stuff!

Wow, that brings back some memories.
I was there 25 years ago.
Your game table and models are first rate. I'm always happy to see the USMC in action on a game table.
Did you add the ERA to the M60A1's, or was that a kit?

The M60s are by QRF, I had to scratch build the reactive armour. I used plastic card with tiles. The rivet counters will know I do not have the exact array correct but for a wargames model I think it shows the effect well...

I did the same thing with my 1/87 ROCO M60's.
The plate pattern was copied from a 1/32 model that I had.
So far, I only have the NATO three color tanks painted up. My desert versions are base coated but not much else.
As you said, the rivet counters will have a coronary, but I'm a table top wargamer and the 5 foot rule is in full effect.

I'm something of a rivet counter and I think those look bloody marvellous. Cracking work, both models and terrain.

Amazing looking table. Currently undertaking a similar project myself and am truly inspired. Doesn't look at all like 15mm, well done

I was the NBCNCO for 24th Marines, Reg. HG co.
We drew up lots of downwind predictions, conducted a lot of decon and suit training for folks all up and down the Al-Jubail to Al-Mishab corridor and out as far West as Kabrit. We worked with our counterparts from the British FMA and traveled in joint teams. That was a lot of fun.
I got to see a lot of the USMC and British armor just prior to them jump-off when we were doing last minute NBC checks for anybody that asked for assistance.
Dodged a few scuds, and never fired a shot. :)
