Yep, the subject title pulled me in as well. Fantastic weathering! As others have mentioned it looks grubby and dangerous. How many colors do you use to dirty everything?

Can't wait to see it with it's top on!

Lovely as usual!  :-* :-* :-*

Thanks, Faust23!
Much appreciated.
 :)

One word - beautiful!

Thank you, von Lucky!
(Gotta love that name  8))

:-* I love it Paul. They may have some rising damp issues there, I wouldn't want to live in that place if I was them, you'd catch something pretty serious. ;)

Thanks, Matt!
Most who get taken to 'visit' the Templars have little time to worry about what they may catch.
The Templars themselves are far to 'busy' to worry about damp issues.
 ;)

Mason, that looks proper scummy to me. Very run down and dank.

Cheers, Rob!
Probably the first time that being called 'scummy' should be taken as a compliment.
 :D

WONDERFUL PROGRESS! It's made more wonderful by leaving at least this viewer without a clue as to what will come next.

Thanks, Al!
As for having a clue about what is to follow:  I only have a vague notion myself... ::)
Fingers crossed!

Stunning, simply stunning.

I am stunned.

 lol
Cheers, mate!

Why, I thank you, Mr F-F!

It seems that putting the word 'topless' in the title attracted more than a little interest.... ::)

Gorgeous topless :D.

Thanks, Suber!

As for how many colours.....: That tends to vary, there is no hard and fast rule when I do anything, just stop when it seems about 'right'.
With this there are probably between three and six, dependant on area, with more on the flatter rendered areas and less on the stonework.
A mix of black (first), greens and browns.
All heavily watered down.
I usually use the 'dirty' brush water as well, especially on the groundwork, as it is effectively 'free'.
 ;)

I knew that would attract YOUR attention, at least!
I hope you like the final effect, even if it has its top on by then.
 :D

You are the Daddy. :D

Thanks, Mama!
 :D

 lol

Mama cant help it!

As for the title: It certainly worked.
 ;)

Cheers, Adam.
To be honest, mate, that is a difficult question to answer as with this building I have been able to leave it sitting around.
When this happens I tend to just do a bit at a time, maybe twenty minutes, and then leave it for a while and go back later when it attracts my attention again.
There is probably more time spent waiting for various things to dry (glues, washes etc...) than actual 'working' time.
When I have to keep packing things away, I tend to be a bit more industrial about it and crack on.

I hope to get some progress done on the next level later.

Piccies if it happens...

Difficult to give exact figure? Advoid the question with a long answer? WOW are you a part time politician? Do you "seasonally adjust" time spent?

Ok, mate, I can see why you may say that...

but , it really is difficult to say as the 'actual' time I am 'working' on it is probably less that half the time it would take.

I may have spent about four hours on it so far, but that is an extremely vague guess.

Excellent building. Okay. I was fooled by the title as well but was actually more wondering what the heck a topless model had to do with Krappefortt. Honestly! (Yeah, sure....).

As usual your modelling and painting skills amaze me to no end. That looks awesome.

Hmm, now in four hours I can make a mess....

Thanks for the info

Clearly not a politician then as vague and guess are not the jargon you should be using, more like precise analysis shows we can expect to spend about four hours.....

At least you can be reassured that you were not alone in wanting see the 'topless' model.
Thanks for the compliment.

I can also now thank you for inspiring my next Fantasy project, as your LotR project has been tempting me for ages and I will finally start my own soon.

We shall have to see some time, wont we...?

They wouldn't admit to fannying around and procrastinating when they should be working either, would they?

Not finished my witch hunter captain's gaff yet Mason? Well, that's not good enough! Just what sort of Mason are you, anyhow? I dunno, you faux-medievil builder types are all the same - look at a job, suck in yer cheeks, mutter 'It's gonna cost ya - lime render ain't cheap, gonna need a few gold coins up front...' then go and set about enjoying yaself drinking tea, wolf whistling at passing maidens and leaving me stronghold topless!

 ;D

We all can't wait to see the finished job, mate. 8)
