Build Something Contest 2017

60 odd participants (with the emphasis on the 'odd'  ) - should be quite a show.

Looking forward to seeing all the projects bloom into beautiful creations

I gotta admit, I have everything laid out for starting tomorrow, and all the plans in place, bits chosen, etc.  I may be done with it by the end of the week (except the painting).

I just spent 3.5 hours putting an Ikea bed together. Can I submit that? (That said, there was plenty of cardboard I've taken for my terrain making horde.)

Does it have a feather mattress? That may count you 'in' on the flight theme!

Anyone care to do some statistics - how many VSF, sci-fi, fantasy, historical; or how many with conventional wings, non-conventional, blades, no-wings at all etc.? This year's theme has been quite successful, and participation is big enough to have some fun with numbers. And I'll be too busy* (or lazy) to do this...

*replacing bathroom taps grumble....
