While the work is excellent as always, I think Upsheet Creek deserves a real station.

Looks excellent,mate! Cracking job

Cheers, Steve.
 :D

A cracker! I'm liking the newly cobbled together station for the 'essentials'.

I was planning my own town and discovered that a small building wouldn't have a long enough platform to service the train?!?! Better to intentionally small rather than just coming up short ;)

Cheers, Matt!
I see this simply as a platform where the ladies and well-to-do folk get aboard the passenger cars of the first class variety, you know, the ones with seats?
The rest of any passing train will be serviced with the use of planks, ramps and good, old-fashioned climbing aboard.
 ;)

Very nice; reminds me of the train stop in Sergeant Rutledge  8)

Thanks, Lance.
I will have to look that one up.
 :)

I have no 'belly' anymore  ;D

I was not referring to any kind of 'belly' in either case.
 :D

Looking fab, Paul! :-*

Thanks, Skander.
 :D

While the work is excellent as always, I think Upsheet Creek deserves a real station.

Thank you, sir.
I do intend coming back later with an 'upgrade' for the Station, it is just thst times a running out and I only have a couple of weeks in which to finish this stage of proceedings.

Stage 2, the growth of the Creek, will continue in the new year.
 ;)

Still torn with the choices I have for 'Bibbles'.... ;)

I am glad that you approve.
Always risky when you start portraying people.

Ok, back to some piccies.
I based up the Civilians that Jeff painted for me and made a couple of (very) small alterations.
All round, I am extremely happy with these...

A couple of fellas having a slight disagreement...

An old boy who suffers from insomnia and the town Ratcatcher.....

Cheers, Jeff, lovely paintwork.

Another one of the Townsfolk of Upsheet Creek

Doug......

Named for what he spends most of his time doing...

'What did you do in them there hills, Doug?'
'I dug 'em for gold.....'

He has not had much luck finding gold, but he sure has a lot of joy adding to his collection of lead and tin.

Is this the Doug? Does he have a mule called Emma Four? (he thinks it's a nice name for a mule and can't be bothered changing it).

Lovely figure,  but I don't recognise it. Where's it from? Cheers

Lovely characters - all of 'em - Mason.

(I thought Doug might have been the town undertaker but I guess that job might be done by Paul Bearer?)

Apologies in advance

and of course if Paul needed assistants (after all Upsheet Creek has a lot of dead bodies to handle) he could always hire Mort Isshun and Phil Graves?

 lol lol
Very good, but they have to be usernames of the BLAM attendees.

No mules for this fella, but there is someone in town who has one.

He is from Tiger Miniatures.

Doug (making the arrogant assumption that he is The Doug).

ps - can you confirm your vpostal address to make the job of my ;awyers that much easier...?   :D

Glad you approve, Bertie.
Some of these usernames do make it difficult.

Here is another...:

Bullshott.

Barman, bouncer and all round assistant to Tom the B*stard, Bullshott is one of the fixtures at the Bastard's Inn.
He is as well known for his 'hair of the dog' restorative, the Bull-Shot, as he is for his trusty plank of hardwood for keeping the rowdier customers in line.
