With such a light background I think the skin tones look a little dark, so I've put a little background in and altered the lighting to see if they look any better. Feedback would be appreciated.

They do look lighter in the new pics.
The fella with the woman in particular.
It certainly helps having the woman in the shot, as I am seriously impressed by her.
 :D

Lovely work, mate, and that building is lovely too.

Los malditos banditos do look fabulous!  :-*

The red suits them great, I'm glad I chose it for my bandito gang as well :)

Ok, forget lighting and background, I've taken the skin tone up a level. I hope you can see from this picture. The building is from Snapdragon which I believe are sadly no longer available.

Adios Hombres!

It seems that red IS the new black....in Mexico, at least.

I had an extensive collection and love for those toys when I was a nipper, so I guess it was inevitable that I would have to have an Old West collection again one day.

A new campaign begins.... The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:14/11
« Reply #1763 on: November 14, 2014, 01:11:40 PM »
Last night we had a couple of games to start a new campaign set in the vicinity of Upsheet Creek.

The first two scenarios would involve the heroic chaps of the US Cavalry attempting to capture some deserters and a known outlaw gang.

The train would feature in both games at the edge of the board.
Consequently the table was set up to represent the town further south of the rails leading to the town edge where it reaches the woods.

I failed miserably to take pictures during the first game, and only a couple during the second.
I will post those that made it later....

You both need to pop round for a game sometime.

We are using the LotOW rules for the campaign, as the rules used at BLAM are fine, but I need to work on the campaign rules.
 ;)

As for the results....

The first game involved the notorious Painter Gang (Run by Painter112), deserters and desperadoes to a man, trying to evade capture by the US Cavalry and making their escape by kidnapping the train and driver.
It was a tough ask, but Captain Isiah Painter and one of his henchmen did manage to get through the Cavalry blockade, and the pursuing group and get out of town.

The second game saw the twisted Clamp family come to town on the train, only to be mistaken for the cousins the evil Clumps, and thence chased out of town by the Cavalry unit who were having a little R'n'R' in the Bastards Inn.

They did make it too, but poor old Jeremiah Clamp got a right good hiding and received two broken hands and lost an eye in the fracas.
Not surprising when you see the situation at the end of the game.....

He did put up a good fight but, rather unsurprisingly, numbers won through in the end.
A sad end and all from a case of 'mistaken identity'.....

.....not that that stopped the Cavalry having a celebration at the end of the day.....
