Exactly my thoughts as I came upon the name... from what I could gather from the sources, it's a neologism according to "Pionierkorps", just in an outdated spelling... lol

Of course, you could have a whole load of punishable puns based on that... like using "Rollmöpse" as a nickname for them, or "Jetzt geht's ans Eingemachte" as a battle cry...
