Title: TRENT Miniatures Scale comparison?
Post by: Captain Gamma on January 28, 2010, 12:47:59 PM
The recent advert in wargames Illustrated drew me to the Trent Miniatures range.

Does anyone have any idea how their Revolutionary Wars figures would scale up next to Eureka?

Trent miniatures do look quite chunky.

Thanks in advance.

Not exactly what you asked for but this tread might help?

I recently bought some of Eureka's French Infantry in an effort to round out a Trent French Infantry unit. They did not match up very well. The Trent figures are "thicker" while the Eurekas are thinner, and a bit taller if I remember correctly. Both are nicely made figures but, in my opinion, they can't be mixed within the same unit. The size difference is not so significant that I wouldn't have a unit by each manufacturer serving next to each other on a table.

Thanks guys, you have both answered my question. I love the Eureka stuff but the Trent stuff is so full of character.

We've got plenty of Trents but no Eureka, but they do fit in well alongside UTB/Reiver and Outpost.

Thanks for that Captain Gamma. I have just about everything available from Eureka right now and was thinking of addimg some Trent for variety.
