Good enough to eat - literally in some cases given the ingredients lol. Consider these recipes stolen.

Properly done gardens has always been somewhere on the To Do list; posts like this keep them there even though I've only ever gotten as far as a couple of fenced enclosures!

Great stuff, looking forward to seeing these finished.

That is amazing. I can't believe something can look so good from such simple ingredients.

Thank you kindly guys.

I’m sure there are plenty of other kitchen ingredients that could be “converted” from mustard seeds, pepper corns, caraway seeds, ....ooh and you could make great artichokes from cloves....must try that one.

Don’t forget, green stuff is also very useful.....simply roll out small blobs and you can make easy courgettes / cucumbers, melons etc without any really great gs skills.

Please feel free to add any other ideas....

Next up, making bean plants......I simply soaked a few pieces of string in a water/pva/paint mix and wrapped them round the poles.   Stuck a little foliage to it, then glued in some of the beans...simples!

:o :o Superb! Thanks for all these nice ideas.

I hate cauliflower.

Boiled cauliflower can be boring. Try it fresh, tear small bits of the white part and dip in a spicy sauce while drinking apéro;D  lol

Boil briefly or steam, then dress with  olive oil, sea salt, and suitable salad herbs (fennel or tarragon are excellent); it doesn't get much tastier on this planet.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

Ooops, seems we have been highjacking cauliflowering the thread, sorry.  ;)

Er, one suggestion, perhaps add some stems and leaves above the pumpkins? They can't just sprout out of the ground, they come from stems which crawl everywhere around and above them.

Well done!

Um, I should have stayed mute instead of commenting too much (as usual)  ::) A friend, who knows more about gardening than I do, just told me that the gardener may have choosen to cut the stems and leaves and let the pumpkins in the sun in the garden (as you have done) for a short time to make sure they are ready.  :-X :-X  :D
