An elegant (!) solution.

Thanks, von Lucky...I'm glad you approve! The vote of confidence is appreciated.
I had intended to do some more brushwork on The Tower, but I had some computer problems. They proved to be an easy fix once I figured out what was wrong, but by that time about all I was up for was potting Madame.

That conjured up Gene Wilder & Teri Garr:
"What a set of knockers!"
"Thank you, Doctor."

Thank you, Fram!

With The twisted Tower now in "living" color, all that remains is the fun part; i.e.,adding the details. Here are some photos of the board:

...as I add the details more photos will be taken. Then once it's done some Show Off pics with the cast of characters.

Thanks, Fram. All things considered that is an apt description...glad you like it.

Seconded!

Great work :)

AND thanks to you as well warburton. The positive feedback is appreciated.

Despite the crummy Internet connection, I managed to get some photos of the details I've added:
...from a distance & zooming in:

...there you go. That seems a bit more tangible than just a "thanks for the reply".

The flowers really add a lot and ground the building. Plus this guy made me laugh quite loudly...

This is so awesome.

It is uncanny how you can achieve dark and sinister using bright and colorful paints.

Thanks for the reply, Fram. That's the same reaction I had to the Little Guy...he seem perfect for the place. I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it...that is my aim.

Thanks for the reply, Doc! I think it's the surrealistic setting & bright colors that give it an eerie feel, rather like the effect clowns have on some folk. Be that as it may, I'm delighted you like it.

I have in my mind's eye the process of our solar system being formed. Explosion, spinning bodies, debris. Then things start to settle and beautiful planets are created, no life, but burning surfaces por spinning gas clouds.

This will all be disrupted again when a planetoid smashes into the earth to create the moon and restart the creative process again.

For now I'm enjoying the calm. Well done DeafNala.
