Greek Skeletons
« on: October 18, 2020, 04:45:56 PM »
Somehow after playing a Greek myth game with Thomas Webster-Deakin last month, I talked myself into getting some skeletons.  These are the rather nice Wargames Atlantic plastics with some bits added from Victrix hoplites.  White undercoat, then the bone colour is a thinned down mix of GW Contrast Snakebite Leather and Wyldwood. I found some very old (last century) VVV shield transfers in my bits box and patched these on to the shields.

Lovely work. Brilliant setup and photography as well, really brings out the paintwork :)

Looking good. I have those as well.
North star miniatures are releasing some plastic skeletons for oathmark soon and they have a early bronze age look that will fit well with these.

If you're looking to add zombies to the collection, Studio Miniatures have some Greek ones. They may only be available as part of their kickstarter just now (I couldn't see them in their shop when I checked). KS here

Really nice looking skeletons there.  If I hadn’t already painted what seems like a million of the Warlord (Wargame factory?) ones I would have got them
