Got a generic Bree/LotR house on the go and here are the first wips. The bridges are magnetic and the towers will be on separate bases to allow for maximum modularity. First picture is the reference I’m working from. Details and construction will be done before finalising the painting and bases.

Beautiful house. :o
-
Good start. That looks like it'd be good for a Warhammer type setting, or ad&d, or even a late medieval thing.
-
Great start so far. Can’t wait to see how the final looks.
What materials are you using?
-
Looking fantastic so far. Are those shingles of your own design?
-
Great start big chap! 8) I’m suprised at how well the magnets hold. Especially since the timber frame must be creating a gap between them!
-
Flipping heck, that's ace! :-*
-
Many thanks gents :)
Still a way to go before it starts to look finished.
What materials are you using?
Card, styrene, balsa for the most part with a few other bits here and there.
Are those shingles of your own design?
Yes and they are available here (bottom of the page) although I’m running a bit short on stock at the moment.

Very clever, that looks really good as a centre piece but also for skirmish gaming terrain.
-
:o
Can't wait to see the final!
-
Simply genious idea! Consider it nicked :)
-

-

Looking good
-
Missed thus before - interesting progress. 8)
-
That's a big old piece of terrain; very impressive indeed. I'm assuming (possibly wrongly) that you won't base the individual elements as it's intended to be modular? Or will they be based in a way that keeps them flexible?
-
Many thanks chaps :)
They will have their own bases as the two towers can be placed on their own without the bridges.
-
Missed this before Lovely build :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
-
Looking good James - although I'm getting a tiny flavour of Barratt Home in there somewhere... lol
(I'm certain it will look suitably rustic and olde-worlde once it's all been painted, weathered, landscaped and greened :D)
-
Cheers gents :)
Not a Barrett Home in sight lol
-
All done :)
As mentioned, the bridges are magnetised which can be best seen in the last couple of photos allowing for some layout changes.
