Backed it yesterday for $125

If it's sent as usual...nothing...I've never had to pay for customs and I think this one will be the same.

Just last week I had to pay €41,80 for a €75 item coming from the States  :o
Thing is, I never had to pay for stuff I bought from individuals. It's only when it comes from shops :-)

I bought an apple laptop a few years ago and did what I'm doing here.  I sent it to my parents in the states and they mailed it on to me.  Customs kept it 30 days extra out of spite, because they could not charge me tax...

From what I've seen, every assessment of taxes also carries a 12 -15 euro 'fee', it's a total rip off and I'll never have anything sent here again from a vendor.  Never.

Has there been any word if this is kickstart only or if it will hit retail at some point?

Thanks.

They're up to 253,000 now.
Lot's of cool stuff for $100, but shipping, taxes and custom fees is holding me back...

It will be available via normal retail, but the retail version will not have a lot of the included extras the kickstarter version comes with.

The extra mapset is a GREAT idea, and the campaign possibilities just got better! I've been getting my fiance to play Zombies! and some lighter games, it's all a warmup for this! >;)

ish, there are 5 different sculpts of the shambling zombies, 2 different running zombies and the 'fatty' and 'abomination zombies. So 9 different zombies and all the survivors are individual sculpts. So if you go for the extra couple like I have then that's 11-12 survivors plus another 6 individual zombie versions of said survivors.

So in total, assuming the last stretch goals are met, that's 27 different sculpts in there. I think that's pretty good.

Now that said, obviously the zombies are going to be the largest proportion of that but as horde figures, they tend to be like that from many companies anyway. The Mantic zombies for example (which are widely loved, and I use a bunch) only have 3 torso's so even when mixing with legs etc, there is a very 'samey' look to them. I think when given a paint job the zombies can be given very different styles, even amongst the same pose. Plus with it being a hardish plastic, conversions will be easy to do.
So many projects..... so little time.......

well, 27 sculpts for 100 $ is still a fair price.
For my gaming phylosophy, two identical miniatures cannot be in the same table together. But that's an opinion. And you can make some conversions, you are right! =)

It is isn't it? I hadn't considered that  lol

I mostly agree with you, I would prefer every figure I own to be a different sculpt but it's just not realistic outside of small skirmish games. My Zouave units from the Perry's are a good example, I've converted them etc but there is only so much variety you can put into 40 troops that all wear the same uniform and are advancing.
