New Matilda 2 from 20mmZone
« on: September 20, 2013, 10:47:00 PM »

This model comes virtually ready built in our 20mmZoneRapid Build Format. All you need to do is add the turret hatches and the auxiliary fuel tank if required, that’s it. The hull is clear of the ground so you can see right through. The hull is made from our favourite material, a Polyurethane composite cast in high detail in a single piece. Easy to paint, light weight, rapid build. Matilda’s have never been so easy than now .

Its gets better. These are half the price and 25% of the weight of the old Skytrex format. These will come in blisters at £8.50 each or 3 tanks for £24 and you get some accessories in the 3 packs.
Pre-orders are essential for Derby where they will be available. Orders will be possible on the webstore after the Derby Show next weekend.

Thanks for your interest, and we still have LOADS more Goodies yet to come,

Nicely done and no doubt popular with 20 mm fans.

See, what I'm liking here is that we're having a price that is comparable to an Airfix kit, just a smidge more perhaps, but with all the scale issues and time spent building taken out of the equation.

Well, that's pretty much our approach. Compete on price but add the advantage of true rapid build designs, not 35 parts on a spare for example, better quality model at the end of the process designed to be handled a lot, easy to paint, quality materials using just some of the best master patterns I think i have seen.
These are just lovely models that probably have not been seen in this quality and certainly not these material combinations before. They are 70% or more less weight and on average around half the original price.
We thinks its a successful business model and sales so far seem to support our approach .
However, we have a lot of models to redesign and remould but I hope we can keep up this pace of delivering these new format models into the gaming world whilst keeping our already established business's running and developing their own product ranges.

Thanks for your interest,
Regards
