Picked up Battlefronts 'Tanks' at Salute this year (fun little game) & have finally got around to slapping some paint onto the models. They're at about the half way stage awaiting weathering but good enough to get a few games in.
These is the first 15mm stuff I've painted & the speed at which you can do it compared to 28mm made the whole project much less daunting than the usual 'I've got a load of vehicles to paint'.
As you can see, I've had a minor issue with the decals on the M4's & M26 - any suggested remedies other than start again would be welcome.

Looking good.
Regarding the decals - have you sealed them? If not, I'd seal them with a matt varnish, then re-weather the area.

Thanks Von Lucky, the decals have had a couple of coats of Vallejo matt varnish without curing the issue. I wondered if it may have happened because I neglected to put a layer of varnish down before the transfer, I usually do & haven't had this problem prior to this.
I'll give the whole models coat of Windsor & Newton & see if that fixes it, if not I suppose I'll blend a little paint in around them & hope to obscure it during the weathering phase.

Yup thats it alright

Yeah, thought as much, bugger...
Many thanks.

There is also decal softener, which melts the decal into the surface.
Always put down a gloss coat where a decal goes!

Have managed to finish the US tanks I picked up for Battlefront's 'Tanks' at Salute. It was enjoyable - I used pretty much the same techniques that I use ono 28mm stuff & they seemed to have turned out ok (though never having painted anything on this scale before I think the weathering may have been overdone - these tanks have clearly had it hard!)
All advice from those with greater experience at this (or any other scale) greatly appreciated! Ok, now on to the Panthers - hopefully by the end of the week.

Looking very nice indeed, the weathering looks most effective.
-
Brilliant. :)

Wow! These tanks do look awesome! The weathering does look spot on to me.
-
Cheers! They've been fun to do, hopefully have the Panthers finished soon.

Managed to finish the Panthers this afternoon.

Very nice.
I'm reminded when I first painted 15mm with your speed - wait til you try infantry at this size!
