Hmmm... Every year, I ask myself (and you chaps) the same question... Colours or Warfayre? Colours or Warfayre?

And I always end up going to Warfayre - but never to Colours  :?

Is there any telling reason to prefer Colours?

Last year was the first year I'd been to Colours, there seemed to be a better class of demonstration/participation games there. I also spent more money there than at Warfare, a wider range of traders perhaps?

Always Warfare, September is a busy month for me so can never committ to Colours as the weekend will involve a stay at a mates house. November is a quieter month so it works out better. Shame as Colours is a nice venue, I'd recommend giving at go if you haven't been before. Malamute will buy you a pint too..........

well i'll be going to both, however i do prefer colours. It just seems to flow alot more easily spent alot more money at colours to. Also the views of the race course are rather nice (something the girlfriend can do while i spend up lol). In all colours is the better of the 2 in my opinion  :D

I go to both now, Colours has the better venue. Warfare is more fun because it's new, this year will be my third visit. That will soon change though and I'll probably revert to just Colours since it was originally my first wargames show (1991 I think). I don't spend money at either.
