With my GoB Skeleton Hordes almost done, it is time to plan something else.

Not feeling all that well today, so you can read more about it on the blog, where I have already recorded my thoughts on these.

Speed-painted 1 point (SAGA/AFS) of warriors.

I have noticed the sleeve - shall attend to it in due course!

Thanks - most of it is just block'n'wash, exceptions are the spear shafts, and the shield bosses.

Shields are, of course, LBMS.

You should do more of your so called speed paintig. It looks great!

Thanks - it has been put together over a long time!

Thanks, it is definitely the way to go for painting larger warbands/army units, to get a sizeable force ready for the table within a sane time frame.
I expect to paint 2˝ points more of warriors this way (I have ˝ point's value in my Blood Eagle warband), then, depending on how long it took me to get the warriors done, either layer-paint some hearthguards, or use a similar approach (I am trying to get 6 points ready before March 11th, and then maybe participate in a little gathering/tournament at Rogue Trader Copenhagen (if I can get in on some car-pooling). Lots of maybes, but on all accounts I am determined to get a 6 points warband ready for SAGA and AFS, then, if I can still stand the sight of Dark Ages minis, maybe expand the force into a 24 points skirmish level army for God of Battles (Blood Gorged Vikings and/or Thousand Tribes).

The wash has worked really well especially on the faces where it is defining the beards and hair excellently. Are you using the army painter gloss varnish wash and if so which tone.

Did you finish the dung heap?
