'Tis the season to be Steampunk.
« on: December 12, 2013, 11:24:18 AM »
Thought I'd share this find that my girlfriend discovered in Wilkinson's in the U.K.

They're metal Christmas decorations for your tree and are only a quid each - there's at least one other cog design and a couple of clock faces in gold on black and black on gold in the same size.  Might look good as large bases for some Steampunk figures?

Those look good. I'd be tempted to use them to detail altars to the Machine God or something.

The last time that I was in Wilko's they were disappearing fast but then again they had been reduced to 50p each.

I'll add them to the list for the New Year's restock then.

EDIT: My local Wilko's is out of stock now - if you want them, go quickly!
