Thanks guys.
Our scenarios are not always as twisted as this, this one was even more twisted than usual, and the players reactions were totally unexpected also.
We (the 2 organizers) had positioned a French vanguard on the other side of the river for the same reason that we often do: be able to launch a final battle at the end of the game if necessary (or if activated by players, as happened). We had not foreseen that this time all players would avoid fighting amongst themselves but would prefer to attack the NPC fortresses ...it's often easier to attack a GM than other veteran players; and they all said afterwards that they were so uncertain of what was happening around them that they were going paranoid and wanted to take minimal risks...
but anyway the scenarios are broad enough to allow it.
Just a question - does your group only speak French, I am hoping to spend some months in Brittany over the next couple of years but my French is limited to ordering beer and baguette's, certainly not up to the complex negotiations involved in your campaigns.
No problem, some of our group members speak English, and anyway a language difference can be mentioned to add more RP in the scenarios. The rules reference sheets exist in English; the translation of the basic ruleset is obsolete and has not be updated since long, I'm working on it (not really needed when playing with a trained group). When you come over here you can PM me, or have a look at An Argader FB page and forum for informations, and we'll also give you contacts with groups who play other rules if you wish to, of conventions etc.

Some local bakers here make organic large bread that you can keep nearly a week, baguettes last only one day.
