As a Conan fan, I'm enjoying your project! But wasn't Bęlit pretty pale?

For your jungle markers, what about a collapsed skeleton with the shield? or a broken totem partially covered with vines?

Looky there, what i found in the aquarium section of our DIY. A dinosaur skull! Oh and by the way i painted a great reaper worm, too. ;)

The new light bulb is supposed to be 'cool daylight', but i think itīs a little to blueish.

Thankīs for your kind words all, it makes the 'project' even more fun.  :)

@Belit As far as i can remember the only thing black about here was her hair, so you are right, but i like the contrast of the dark skin and the bright clothing and the only black conan charakter i know of is Zula from the horrible movie. What can i tell you, i find her as entertaining as dwarves in fantasy movies, so i took my artistic freedom here and this Belit has a dark skin tone. :D

@Marker This week i got some new miniatures and with it a bit with which iīll be finally able to finish my last marker. What you canīt see in the picture, the second from the left has some water effect at itīs base.

Some of your suggestions will be of use, when iīm going to make the desert ones.

Nice updates.
The pic with the giant worm reminds me of the old Savage Sword comics.
Love the markers too.

@aggro84 ...and since i liked the worm soooo much and since they are real cheap, i got myself another bunch. :D Two for the desert and another to be later painted as an ice worm.

Somebody at this forum really hocked me up on Gates of Slumber.  :)

I wish i had managed to get more done during the holidays, at least those six bandits. But sadly i only finished a miniature for another system and managed to get the bandits done some more. I even wanted to get my desk cleaned, which as you can see i didnīt do also.

I hope to play some more games any time soon.

More worm madness!
 ;D
I keep getting close to doing a Conan / Clark Ashton Smith themed fantasy project but it just never really happened.

Nothing new miniaturewise, but i got the inlays for CROM ready for the wooden trays im about to build. The colors are brighter in reality.

Couldnīt find a picture fitting that style for a player sorcerer so far.
The blue shield is for movement, red is for attack dice and green ist special. There will be ability and equiptment cards and so on reflecting that color choice.

My last post has been from May??? :o Well at least some miniatures got ready by now. Now i have enough bandits for regular games...and yes, i love those worms. :D

Made an oasis, well in fact two, but they didnīt turn out well for various reasons concerning water effect. :P

I was surprised by the speed it took me to paint Xaltotun. Got myself some undead miniatures and needed some leader for them. Gladly i discovered this Reaper figurine and could resist painting it, despite all the other miniatures i wanted to get finished first.

So, i hope his bodyguards are soon to follow.

The blog version of CROM, two chapters from the companion and the campaign are translated into german and iīm allowed, once it is finished to put it up for download and you will be able to get it from Matakishiīs blog.
I need to take some more pictures and then i give it a nice layout CROM deserves.
Some text iīm still working on is "The Secrets of Steel" with all our optional rules for CROM, which will be integrated into the german edition and will see a PDF of one or two pages in english.
I guess i will have it all wrapped up by mid november.

Currently i started to work on miniatures and terrain to play the Conan and the Dark Citadel campaign.
I started by making a list of what i need and what i allready have.

For the first two scenarios i need a city. Mine is still not finished and since i got myself some new machines i will start all over again and build it completly new from wood. This weekend will see some progress on partially painted miniatures and then iīll work scenario by scenario.

[EDIT]You can find the campaign here: http://www.matakishi.com/cromcampaign1.htm
Does anybody now, where i can get those fishmen in Germany or online from UK?
Instead of the orc like creatures i will use cannibals from Northstar. Any recommendation for a fitting orge surregat? I was thinking of lions or jungle cats, but any suggestion is welcome.

Are you going to do Conan? I have bought some Conan stuff over the years. Maybe we could CROM it together?
