I sculpted this for L72 Miniatures.
Owned by fellow LAF member Lecter1972
It is a multi-part miniature as seen in photo's.
It has 5 variants of tusk's .
This is option 1 with regards to tusk options...
Sculpted in Green stuff and milliput.
I will upload more photo's of the different tusk options as the day / evening goes on...

Option 3 Tusks...

Very nice indeed. Would happily add that to my collection of Mythos miniatures. Well done.

A really cool miniature for every Pulp, Conan or Ghost Archipelo game!

Tusk option 5

My favorite is option # 3, although they all look pretty cool.
-
diehard :
Yeah i like them all as well.
But my favorite is between Option # 1 and # 4 :)
Thanks for the kind words diehard ...

You're most welcome but it is justly deserved, that's easily some top level sculpting skills you have. I've tried my hand at it and know it's not as easy as one would think. Happy when I pull off a decent conversion myself. And yeah, # 1 was my second choice.
-
diehard :
Thanks , much appreciated...
Yes i totally agree, it is not easy at all.
What are you using ? Green stuff? or ?
-
Yep, green stuff is the modelers friend. Although primarily I like to paint I do enjoy converting figures too, that's where I started experimenting. Decent enough that I can blend two parts together somewhat unnoticeably and have done a little reading and built a few armatures to experiment with but they sit partially finished along with a number of other projects on my modeling desk. Damn work getting in the way of my hobbies all the time.
-
diehard :
Yeah Green stuff is good once you get the hang of it, playing about the different ratios can make a difference too. All sounds cool diehard !
Yeah i get that, you need a good run at it or it can get frustrating to say the least.
-
very nice indeed, and would also be interested in obtaining a copy. Although I like version 1, it would be a bit difficult bending the head downwards, but then again who knows how mythos creatures move anyway... :-)

Voogla :
Thank you!
For a copy contact fellow LAF member Lecter1972 as he is the owner of L72 miniatures.
Yeah who knows ?! ;)
