Title: Periscope Up!
Post by: Donogh on June 14, 2010, 08:52:19 AM
Just introducing my self before I go into lurk-mode again.
I'm Donogh, a wargamer in Dublin with a variety of interests as you may see at my blog Land War in Asia (http://donoghmccarthy.blogspot.com/) from 20mm Moderns to 6mm Samurai
I'm active over on The Guild, but this forum represents an outstanding collection of some great periods/genres so I had to sign up. I have been a sometimes Pulp gamer as you may see from a few of my dinosaur hunting games (should these go in Pulp or VSF?) set in darkest Dahomey (http://donoghmccarthy.blogspot.com/search/label/Period%3A%20Pulp)

Cheers
Donogh

Welcome to the LAF, Donogh!
Keep on lurking, as long as you feel comfortable. So you'd better take off your coat, you won't leave soon ;)

Nothing earth-shattering, but you can see them in action in the Dahomey link above.

They're from Magister Militum's (10mm) range of dinosaurs. The adventurers are from Pendraken's Boer War range.
Why Dahomey - I was also considering New Guinea or somewhere like that, I wanted to have a colonial and some World War I background I could tap into. But with Dahomey I could also send in the French Foreign Legion eventually (a project for 2011!)
