Very clever :-*

Like that idea.
-
I like them as well 8)
Very pleasing overall shape, reminds me a bit of Rodney Matthews (no bad thing there) :)
cheers

Thanks guys.
Yes - I'm a big fan of Rodney Matthews too.
No idea how these will turn out when they're finished but I have high hopes.

I get that all the time lol
Colours?
cheers
James

Black, I think.
I was going to do red, but this is VSF and therefore red=British.
Or possibly some really violent, sickly, insect-ish colour.
Hard to know really - it has to be Victorian in essence, even though the machinery is fictional. Colour is a big part of that.
Still thinking. Suggestions are welcome!
-
Coloured metallics?
Copper patina and a silver might look quite good together with a few twiddly bits in gold.
cheers

You may be right. I'll give it some thought - I'm a long way off painting them yet though!
-
Egad, but these are fine looking creatures.
-
Dude! I stand in awe! (Or was it jealousy... whatever) 8)
Gracias,
Glenn

My first step when deciding colours for VSF vehicles/constructs is traction engines and trains. The majority are red or green but there are a few in yellow and blue, but the way the trim interacts with the rest of the colour is what you're actually looking for.

These are great. What was the donor part for the abdomen?
